Carpenter Bees: Love Them or Hate Them?

Many people seem to dislike carpenter bees, likely because the females make nests in decks, fences, or wood siding. Sure, we get it, that can be very frustrating. It's important to remember though that carpenter bees are actually great pollinators and also act as an important food source for other types of wildlife. So before you get out that tennis racquet to swat them away, or put up a catch jar that will lead to a slow death, check out this video to shed some light on just how important carpenter bees are in the ecosystem:
